One of our favorite places we’ve found in San Diego is Cabrillo National Park.  There is a secluded area called the “tidepools” that let’s you climb down rocky cliffs and wade out into the rocky shore.

During periods of low tide, pools form along this shore in rocky holes.  In them lives all sorts of animal and plant life:   (our FAVORITE) CRABS, flowery anemones, octopi, spongy deadman’s fingers, and all sorts of other creatures.  It’s so much fun!
