May 15th was a beautiful day at the San Diego Temple with my little brother Steven! Â We are so proud of him. Â He received his mission call to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Â We were excited he planned to go to the temple for the first time on a weekend when we were still in town, Amber and my parents were able to make it down and when my older brother and his family could drive down from Portland.
I love going to the temple. Â It is a beautiful, peaceful place. Â But it is even more amazing when you are surrounded by family and you are able to look around and realize our true meaning here on earth. Â I am so thankful we have had this time to be so close to my family and be there for special days like this one!
As crazy as my family is…they are so much fun!
Thank you Steven for being such a great example to all of us. Â You will be an AWESOME missionary! Â It’s been fun to be a part of your preparation and to hang out a little before you leave. Â We love you!
